(Radha Shanti Kaur)
I’ve been practicing and teaching Kundalini Yoga in NE Scotland since late 2017 when I completed my Level 1 KYTA Certification with the Sahej Academy.
I endeavor to bring lightness and spontaneity into class and seek to help all my students connect with this powerful practice in a way that feels accessible and fun.
My Gong work is a significant part of my teaching and practice. I’ve had the privilege to train under Gong Master Mehtab Benton since 2017 and hold an Advanced Gong Practitioner Certification as well as teacher assisting in his London summer workshops in 2019.
I use the Gong regularly when I teach Kundalini Yoga classes as well as hosting Gong Baths at various venues across Scotland. In the fall of 2019, I will begin offering ‘How to play the Gong’ workshops to introduce gong playing techniques based in the Kundalini tradition to beginners and will be completing my Gong Healing Certification.
My sound work has led me to accompany creative and artistic process at art installations and workshops and I’m currently collaborating to put Udantara aerial yoga therapy to sound.
I believe wholeheartedly in the transformational potential of Kundalini Yoga and sound work as I live it daily through my own experience of it. I am deeply grateful to be able to share it with all those whom I am blessed to reach and teach.
There is an online class a week through "Love Yoga Online Classes" a Facebook group that is free to join. We then ask for a donation, if possible for people through a BT. The class is on Thursday at 12:30 PM for about an hour. It's generally a relaxing and restorative practice through Kundalini Kriya.
I also do a Tuesday Tune-In every Tuesday morning at 7:30 AM through Zoom. This is a 15min meditation to connect with each other and elevate our vibration together. If you want to join you can reach me directly through firstname.lastname@example.org to request the Zoom invitation.
