Jenny Smith is a certified and experienced teacher of Kundalini Yoga, Pregnancy/Postnatal Yoga, Mother & Baby Yoga and Yin Yoga.
Jenny began practicing regularly in 2012 whilst living in Brazil. Suffering from various physical and mental effects of a near fatal car accident, she went along to a Kundalini Yoga class in the hope that it would help in her recovery. What she found was a comprehensive physical and spiritual practice that has seen her through challenging times in life. She is passionate about sharing the practice of Kundalini Yoga with others.
Each Kundalini Yoga class is unique but always incorporates physical yoga, breath work, meditation and chanting. Whether you are a complete beginner or an advanced practitioner of yoga, you will be able to enjoy Jenny’s physically challenging yet deeply healing classes.
What my students say:
"I love kundalini yoga! I've tried many classes and types of yoga but kundalini has been the only one I feel I really benefit from and need in my life. When I don't go for a few weeks I feel bad. The breathing techniques are very good for clearing me out energetically and the chanting vibrates my soul uplifting me. The postures are challenging like I've worked out. It's really important to find a teacher you like and Jenny Smith always brings the right sequence each week to give us exactly what's needed. She's encouraging and focused with clear instructions. I can sink into a beautifully meditative state. You get what you put in and I've noticed an improvement over the last year practicing. I've learnt to push through feelings of not being able to do a position and found an inner strength I didn't realise before”- Elizabeth, Edinburgh

This beautiful transformative practice of rising early and coming together to chant, do yoga and meditate has to be experienced to be understood.
You don't have to be a Kundalini Yoga teacher or student to join - everyone is welcome! We will meet every Thursday at the gorgeous Arusha Art Gallery on Dundas Street at 5.30am. Donation is £5 to cover tea and venue contribution. Please bring your own mat, some water and something to cover yourself with to keep warm. If you like, you can bring a small cushion too.
