Jo Gannon

I’ve been teaching Kundalini Yoga for many years and I remain full of wonder at the power of this technology.

My first class left me feeling invigorated and I was hooked.

I trained  with Hari Har Ji, Sahej Academy and am a KRI Yoga Teacher.

I am also a member of KYTA (Kundalini Yoga Teachers Association).

I am also a Shakti Woman’s Facilitator and the teachings are incorporate into both my workshops my regular classes.

Whilst each yoga session can be different they each make use of pranayam/breathwork, physical movements, mantra and meditation. Some sessions are physically challenging whilst others can be more meditative in nature. All can provide healing.

The classes and workshops are generally held in the chalet but during the summer months, when weather and midges permit, sessions are held outside in the garden overlooking the sea.

You are warmly welcome and I look forward to seeing you.

What my students say:

'Jo Gannon's Kundalini class on Luing is exceptional. With experience of yoga classes in India , Southwest UK and China, I enjoy and benefit from these Kundalini classes so much that when I have travelled from Dorset to Argyll I make a point of going to join Jo's class in her studio overlooking the Firth of Lorne and Scarba. There I find calm and strong guru style teaching, physical,  mental and spiritual exercise and uplift, unobtrusive fellowship and individual attention with a lightness of touch…’ - JC

‘Yoga sessions with Jo are a wonderful combination of physical exercise and spiritual inspiration. Jo makes us feel very comfortable. She is supportive and encouraging, and is very attentive to individual needs and limits. There's often laughter, and also emotional support when someone is a bit down. All in all very uplifting.’ MB

‘I have been attending KY with Jo for many years and delight in her teaching.  Her professionalism, confidence and knowledge transfer as we go through the sessions together - I always leave a better person. I love the space she has created …. and the strong bond we have developed over the years.  KY has helped me in so many ways - personally, in dealing with stress and anxiety but also in my profession working with vulnerable people.’ FC

I am truly grateful to have found Jo at the beginning of my Kundalini journey. She is very welcoming and I love taking time out to visit the idyllic, peaceful haven she has created on Luing for teaching Kundalini Yoga.  Always supportive, inspiring and sharing her depth of knowledge about the practice during class. Kundalini resonates so deeply with me and each class Jo teaches provides a good work out for strengthening my body and brings a peacefulness to my soul….’EG

‘Jo is an excellent yogi, who makes me feel at ease and relaxed immediately.  Jo has helped me learn how to really breathe, which helps to reduce my anxiety.   I am able to use some of these practices at home...' LL

‘I look forward always to coming to your wee chalet which is such  a safe space it feels very peaceful and the calm feeling in this wee building is a perfect setting for doing yoga. I find the way you  plan the theory behind the yoga moves/mantras etc very enlightening and helpful. You also have different things for us to try in every session, which is always challenging to mind and body. I always feel relaxed and rejuvenated  after a session….

You are always so welcoming interested in our lives, kindness  and gentleness are also some of your amazing attributes.’ MR
